# The Iliad — Wrath, Sing, Goddess

> from the Greek and human-edited. The English translation is public domain
> (CC0 1.0); the scholarly notes, the translator's commentary, the
> introduction, and the name index are CC BY 4.0; the Greek is Monro and
> Allen's text (public domain).

Cite passages as book.line (e.g. 6.146). Every verse of the reading
edition has a stable anchor: /read/book-06.html#L146.
